We look after our granddaughter one day a week and, up until now, we had been using a much more basic seat, fixed via the seatbelt since our old car didn't have ISOfix. A new car and a growing child made lifting her over the straps to get her into the rearward facing position an increasing challenge and so we bit the bullet and invested in this Joie Spin 360 Rotating seat, competitively priced within this genre. Still quite an outlay, but our daughter is determined that her daughter sit in a rearward facing position for as long as possible, based on safety research, and this seat will allow that until a child is four years old, so we will get a good couple of years use out of it. The seat can be used from birth and there is an insert for newborns, which you remove for older children, thickly padded and really cosy. Hands up, I found it a devil to fit the first time, in fact I had rung my daughter and asked her to come over to help because I was in danger of just giving up. As a hint, I found videos posted by real mums and users much more helpful in showing me how to do it (yes, I did get there eventually) than the official one from the manufacturers. There also seemed to be a slight disconnect between the instruction booklet, which advised using the ISOfix plastic guides (basically a tube of plastic) and the videos, which didn't mention them at all - in the end I put the guides away and, hey presto, it works. Our granddaughter, at just two, can't give much of a verdict on the seat other than to call it 'Mimi's posh new seat', but she fits in well, the straps are easy to pull out to accommodate putting her in, and then tightening up again. There is ample padding on the shoulder straps and around the harness point. The head rest can be adjusted upwards and is supportive. With an older child facing rearwards, you might want to fit a cover for the rear seat in your car, because little feet are going to be kicking against it and you will either need to take off their shoes or protect your upholstery. I was concerned that legs are bent and feet against the back of the car seat when the child is in the child seat, but our daughter pointed out that having to bend one's legs compared to the dangers of a forward facing accident is a small price to pay. The seat also has a number of reclining positions which serve to take the feet further away from the back of the car's rear seat. A 'foot' which goes from the seat down to the floor of the car and clicks into the 'green' position when fitted correctly gives extra stability. A good solid seat, much safer than forward facing and competitively priced.

I Have used this seat for a new borne a 6 year old & ages inbetween for my grandchildren. No need to have 2 different seats any more. Overall I think it’s a great seat, easy to install, adjust head rest and safety straps. Being able to turn the seat to face the door when strapping children in the seat is wonderful and makes seating children safely in the car so easy. My only grumble is that I think the seat would be 10 out of 10 if the recline position could recline further back. Because of this I don’t think the seat is as good for small babies as it could be with better recline. I also find the toddlers heads some times fall forward because the recline is not enough. For a seat needed for children of different ages it’s great. Suits me as a grandparent who doesn’t always have the same children in the car.

I love this seat, so does my son. It is easy to install, lovely and comfy too. Importantly the shoulder straps stay in place regardless of little ones moving or wriggling. The spin seat feature makes life a little easier and now i don't dread the walk to the car. I have not yet tried the recline feature. Yes, for me, it is worth the extra cost.

I've purchased this for my 8 month old who has grown out of his baby car seat that came with his travel system. The spin feature makes it very easybto get him in and out off. The seat feels very secure and was easy to install. Baby looks very comfy and he seems happy in there although we've not had much chance to use it.

A cadeira joie spin 360 foi unico cadeirinha desde bebe que achei no brasil que passou pela teste de Alemanha. Gostei sistema isofix em vez de usar cinto. Tambem a função de girar 360 grau ajuda muito. Ainda não usei no bebe, espero que ele goste.

Je ne met jamais d’avis mais là c’est le top du top. Nous avions commandé le Joie Spin 360, le vendeur nous a contacté quelques minutes après la commande pour nous avertir qu’il était en rupture de stock et nous a proposé le même siège mais en gamme signature avec une housse été en plus, il est magnifique et nous le remercions fortement. Au niveau de la qualité et tant du confort c’est vraiment incroyable, nous l’avons installé en même pas 10min, il s’incline bien et je pense pas que mon Loulou n’aura pas la tête qui penche vers l’avant (je modifierai mon avis le cas échéant) comme le siège d’une autre marque et de qualité moindre de mon mari. J’ai une petite voiture : La nouvelle Ford fiesta et le siège passe très bien ne prend vraiment pas énormément de place il est incliné à fond, il prend moins de place que le cosy. En conclusion je ne regrette absolument pas d’avoir mi le prix car la qualité, la sécurité et le confort est +++
